Logitech Quickcam

My in-laws live in Florida and we live in Ohio so they bought us one of these and bought one for themselves so they could do video chats with our son. This camera was very easy to install and comes with software that is very easy to use. I like that you can change screen size and you can set the camera to follow you and adjust to the lighting in your room. There are also fun features to use. My son loves when my father in law adds a funny nose or hat and the little image actually follows you around so it really looks like you are wearing it. A bonus is that it includes instructions to download Skype which is great to use if you are doing video chats. We tried using it with AIM but we really prefer skype.
There is a little shade on the camera that you can put down and when you do nobody can see you but you can set it to show a picture instead. It's like a privacy shade and we always put it down when the camera is not in use. As soon as you lift the shade the camera turns on and the software opens up ready for use. The camera head can swivel and it has a built in microphone which has really good sound quality. The software also includes settings for the microphone and it is very easy to use.

The camera has a flexible stand with rubber on it so it is very versatile. We have put it on top of the monitor, on top of a speaker, on different shelves of the computer desk. You can move it and mount it just ab out anywhere on your desk depending on what kind of view you are looking for. It has proven to be very reliable and extremely easy to use.
The picture and sound quality are great and the price was amazing. It has been a pleasure to use and a fantastic way to keep in touch with family that live far away.
